"Writing has been a passion of mine since I was a teenager. As a writer, I tend to throw so much of my quirky personality into my characters. My stories are all fictional, of course, but every story has some parts of things that have actually happened in my life. I love to test the waters in my writing.

Whether it’s the crazy things they say or the racy romantic encounters, I like to push it to the edge to leave my readers wanting more. In my books or my projects, as I like to call them, I like to show a strong sense of family and togetherness for the most part. Coming from a large family that supports each other has served me well in my writing because I like to believe the bonds my characters have are actually believable, you can tell they really love one another.

I really wanted to do suspense in the beginning, but everything I seemed to do, in my opinion, needed a good romance to balance it. I fit mostly into the romance category, but all of my projects have plot twists like you wouldn’t expect, also giving them the suspense factor I so desperately craved. I get so excited when I begin a new project because I get to put more of my off the wall sayings and crazy personality into my new cast.

My writing style is classified in so many ways. I do romance, it’s my main thing, but I throw a splash of suspense and loads of intrigue to really drive my point home. I’ve been writing professionally for two years now, and I have seven published projects and the eight, entitled The Vegas Valentine Cartel: An Urban Romance 2, will be out this Month. In total, I have about sixteen books written and am working on number seventeen.

I focus best with music on my headphones while throwing all the crazy ideas I have together to come up with amazing stories. In short, I love what I do, and I put so much of myself into my writing and try to make each story relatable and exciting. My secret is music. I can put on a smooth R&B soundtrack and the ideas just pour in." -M. Skye

Having hid his hustle from Ashley for over two years, once Dalton returns to his hometown, he has no choice but to show her the real Dalton Valentine, one of Vegas’ most dangerous kingpins. Serendipity released her first novel, Ember’s Flame, in August 2016 and it quickly shot to the number one spot on the Amazon African American Erotica list. When asked why she chose to write erotica, Serendipity said: “In the past, erotica has been thrown a bit of shade; folks act like you can’t talk about sex. Why not? There’s so much negativity in the world. But sex, well sex is fun. My characters are regular people having extraordinary fun. And we all like to have fun, right?” She asked and then she winked her eye.

Serendipity was born in Baltimore, Maryland but moved to North Carolina as a teenager so she has the grit of a northerner but the charm of a southern belle. She currently resides in Southwest Florida with her husband and 3-year-old daughter.

About her book

Ember Sinclair’s only focus is planning for the future. She graduated college and became second-in-command at one of the largest marketing firms in Raleigh, NC before the age of 30. She doesn’t have time for romantic relationships nor does she want to have time. Enter Cole Bainbridge. Sexy as sin, a player, a commitment-phobe--and her boss.

When Cole and Ember find themselves on a dream trip for a week, the sparks between them combust into an erotic fire that neither of them are prepared for. They mutually agree to have a week long, uncomplicated affair filled with mind blowing sex. But the best laid plans are often the most fallible. Then, in the blink of an eye, something happens and nothing is ever, ever the same.

"I was born and raised in a small South Louisiana town called Ville Platte. My hometown shaped me into the person I am today. I started writing little short stories at about age 11. I enjoyed the thrill of creating a world via pen and paper.  Reading and Writing has always been my strong points, even in school. I excelled with daily journals and essays. Still today I write my thoughts and even prayers on paper.  During the completion of high school I suffered the loss of my mother and then father to the system. Although those traumatic experiences were a bit life halting, I proceeded to further my education. I attended LSUE for two years and later finishing off at Remington College with a degree in Medical Billing & Coding/Medical Assistant in 2013. Although I enjoy being in the medical field, writing is my LOVE. Writing is my passion alongside reading. Urban fiction has always been my genre of choice while reading.  I started writing publically on Wattpad where I developed a "reader base". People fell in love with the plots and characters I created. I took that push and took a shot at publication. I published my first book "Mancell's Reign: Daughter of a King Pin" in Feb 2016. On 9/15/16 I was diagnosed with Keratoconus, which is a degenerative eye disease in my right eye. Currently awaiting a corneal transplant, but using this experience as a test of faith and a motivation to go harder! I am just trying to write my way into History and hopefully to your hearts!" -Kiara Serie

Meet Ayneka Scott a.k.a. R. Marlaan Rush

Picture

Ms. Ayneka Scott is the adventurous mind behind The Honeypot Chronicles, a three book series of erotic stories sure to serve you just the right amount of heat. Born and raised in South Carolina, Ms. Scott keeps herself busy with being a full-time mother, working and writing every chance she gets. Although she has no formal education in creative writing, the first book in the series has 4 and 5 star reviews thanks to her natural talent for bringing imagination to life. With her three books being in the realm of erotica, Ayneka plans to flex her writing muscles in the urban fiction world with two full novels in the works and a drama/suspense novella soon to follow (as an e-book only.) But, fans of The Honeypot don’t have to worry…there’s enough sticky sensuality in the pot to spill again!
“Writing isn’t a part of life…IT IS LIFE!”

About her book

It is said variety is the spice of life and with The Honeypot Chronicles, you get the kind of variety that gives you the kinky spice in your bedroom. The characters, both male and female, have one thing on their mind-catching the object of their attention and releasing all of the lust they have inside. These stories contain characters who could be your neighbor, the gas station attendant or the seemingly straight-laced couple with the big house and beautiful kids. They could even be you. Within the folds of these stories, these normal people explore the fantasies that burn their souls and kindle their desire, touching on bondage, role play, multiple partners, etc. For example, sometimes the best way to get over someone is to get on top of someone else…maybe a woman’s imagination is so powerful, she can create a man out of thin air to give her pleasure…or, maybe a Domme makes a perfectly seductive sub. Who knows what can happen between the pages of these books, but there’s only one way to find out.
