UBAWA, formerly known as "The Author’s Corner" is a FREE social-networking site for authors, writers, bloggers, poets, and readers. It features information on new and pre-existing authors, their books, and how you can get in contact with them. It also features video and discussion blogs that are posted daily on a variety of hot topics ranging from life and love to business and pleasure. 2. Who can become a member?
Anyone who has an email address and is interested in networking with other writers, authors, and readers
3. Does it cost anything to join? No. UBAWA is free to join and only requires you to have an email address to sign up.

The Author Feature is a great service that will allow you to gain additional exposure and publicity for your book(s). If you would like to have a spot, just send an email request to [email protected]. Author slots may include one author photo, a description of your book(s), a written interview, a radio interview, a video book trailer, a Book Excerpt, & Author Contact Info. 7. What is a good service to use if I need help with designing a website, a book cover, and finding a publisher? 10. I am looking for a cheap printer or publisher to publish my book. Do you have any suggestions for that? Yes, UBAWA'S Resources for Authors and Writers tab features several affordable companies that provide publishing and printing services. To see a list of those companies, just click here.
11. I noticed that you have a bookstore. How can I get my books sold in your bookstore? To have your book sold in UBAWA'S bookstore, send an email to ubawafoundation@gmail.com with the subject heading: LOCAL BOOKSTORE
12. I’m an avid reader and am looking for some great books to read. Where do I find them? UBAWA is always updating our website with new feature authors, new books, and great reads. When you visit UBAWA'S homepage at ubawa.org you will see a widget at the bottom that showcases books by some great authors. Also if you click on the “Book Reviews” tab, you will find a list of books by authors and their reviews. Take some time to browse the site; there are great books all over it!
13. I have a book that I started on years ago, but can’t seem to finish it. Can you help me? Yes! The act of starting a book but not finishing it or putting it off and neglecting it is a fairly common practice amongst authors and writers whose lives are filled with busy, busy, busy. If you need a boost with getting your work completed, don’t hesitate to contact us and let us know.
14. I’m a blogger and have a long-term goal of becoming a professional writer for a newspaper or print magazine, but I have no experience. Does UBAWA offer internships or positions for writers who are just looking to get some experience under their belt?
