The UBAWA Book Fair went out with a bang and 4UMF was there to get the scoop.
UBAWA or Urban Books Authors & Writers of America, held their first annual Book Fair at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta, GA. There many urban authors, from across the country, came together for one cause to “promote literacy and the advancement of writers and authors from under-represented groups.”
UBAWA seeks to connect talented authors with their targeted audiences. Among some of the featured authors whom attended were idol/author Princess Dior and Ms. Alabama Lakisha Brooks. (read entire article)

Meet Jameelah Kareem, author of Toxic
Born and raised in Willingboro, NJ Jameelah Kareem is a graduate of Rutgers University with her Bachelor’s in Journalism and Media Studies. After writing for school newspapers, creating her own magazine and writing for blogs she decided to purse creative writing. She self published her debut novel titled “All Money Ain’t Good Money: A Tale of Greed.” Her second novel “Toxic” is published under LFF Publishing. She decided to go under a publishing house to learn more about the publishing industry and join a team of great authors. Her aspirations are to continue to write novels and eventually write films.

In a world where beauty holds the key to happiness, Fancy sets out to use her key to achieve just that. Making men fall in love, lust and beyond while giving their all is just natural to her and an everyday part of her life. Her web of lies and deceit continue to grow as she plays two men who are closely connected. Eventually her toxic lifestyle will bring her down or them in the process.

Meet Jennifer Hayes, author of "Bound by Memphis"
With more than 14 years in the dating industry, Jennifer J. Hayes has the passion and dedication to helping her clients find love that lasts. She believes in love, fully, and won’t stop until everyone around her has what she has.
