Meet Ernestine MoooreErnestine Moore is the VOICE behind Casualty of Silence, a novel written to heal the pain
of a physically, mentally and sexually abused woman. Born August 4, 1965 no one could have imagined the path she would travel. Ernestine has endured a lot - from family secrets, abandonment, and molestation to drug addictions and domestic violence. Being a casualty of silence, she began to repeat the cycle by neglecting her children to seek what she lost. After an attempt of suicide in 2008 she found her purpose and began to fulfill her dream of protecting children and women from this vicious cycle of enduring pain brought on by keeping life tragedies hush hush. She has been involved in many community functions for the fight against abuse and also informs many families, friends and neighborhoods on how they can protect themselves instead of being afraid to do so. "There is a light at the end of the tunnel because I am living proof,” Ernestine Moore. |
