I was born and raised in Chicago. I’m a mother and a caregiver for my disabled sister born with cerebral palsy. I work in the health care professional field. I always enjoy helping people and it has always been a dream of mine to be an author. I published my first book in 2019, Dream, to tell my story of faith in hopes that I can help someone. My purpose is to be in God’s will for my life. I enjoyed reading books, writing, traveling, and cooking. It is with hopes that I will inspire, encourage or guide others with the words of my book. The Dream series will continue, be on the lookout for the next book in the series.

From Long Beach, California, Shaleea Venney is a 2 time bestselling author and speaker. She is also the President and Founder of Venney Girl Inc, a non profit organization for at risk young women. Through Venney Girl Inc, she is making a difference one girl at a time, through summer camps, mentoring programs, conferences, and workshops, which are always completely FREE for all of her girls. Once a teen mom, Shaleea has devoted her work to reaching young women and helping them to rise above their circumstances and blossom.
Book Synopsis: Her book Little Girl, little Girl, Don't Get Lost in This World. was written for her daughter as a guide to teach her everything life had taught Shaleea the hard way but, once she began to look at the state of our society and how girls are growing up faster than ever before, she knew she had to share the book with the world. The book talks about all of the life's pivotal issues from: teen parenthood, sex, education, setting goals, bullying, love, being a fatherless daughter, promiscuity, peer pressure, self confidence, faith, and much more. Parents can rest assured because while it's honest and truthful, it is not vulgar or explicit. This is a perfect book for young women and women young at heart-there is something for women of all ages to take away from the message. This book is a great conversation starter to open the dialogue for parents to start talking with their girls because our kids are learning and discussing life among their peers anyway, shouldn't you be apart of these conversations? Author Website: www.ShaleeaVenney.com A New Jersey native, graduate of Ocean Township High School (Ocean, NJ), and alumnus of Wake Forest University is part of Andrew’s background and story. After his time in corporate (State Farm Insurance), the public sector (Gwinnett County Public Schools, where he taught language arts, social studies, drama/theater arts, and journalism, as well as serving as an advisor for the school’s yearbook, poetry club, journalism club, and intramurals/after-school sports program), he embarks on establishing Creative Community Solutions, LLC (which provides education-based services ranging from tutoring to ACT/SAT prep and workshops, as well as press/media services for businesses, events, and individual entities).
As an author, he has written two books, Deeper than your deepest sleep: thoughts on love with Joseph Snorton, and 9 stories of faith: volume 1. “Deeper” is a book designed for lovers of poetry, as it is based on conversation with an extended family member who he does not realize exists until May 2014 when as an invitee to the memorial service for the late Dr. Maya Angelou, his invitation is in the name of Joseph instead of his; after going on a fact-finding mission, he is able to track down his relative, and among the conversations they have, the one on love is beyond engrossing and inviting. In looking at love via the lenses of family (i.e. parent/guardian, extended family), friends, community service and outreach, people in your life, people who have left your life, and self-reflection, it is a frank insight full of humor, some hurt, hope, and happiness for what lies ahead, all through the lens of poetry. 9 stories of faith: volume 1, goes in a vastly different yet just as engaging direction. Many can identify with the concept of dealing with some sort of life challenge of the moment, but what of those who can identify living with a daily challenge? This collection of interviews and testimonies cut across the faith community (in this edition, Christianity, Hindu, and Islam), but across daily life challenges of physical health (i.e. multiple sclerosis), mental health (bipolar disorder), life after incarceration, life after a family member transitions, and others. Through their faith, consistency with best practices in health and wellness, their support network of family, friends, and loved ones, and their self-image and drive, people show their ability to live lives of meaning, value, and purpose. The Author’s Mixtape: volume 1 – organic musings from HTooOh, is his first audiobook which draws from the art of the mixtapes found in music (mainly hip-hop and r and b). The audiobook is totally organic, meaning everything is written and recorded in a two-hour studio session. The randomly selected masterpiece draws from music, poetry, and spoken word, tackling topics ranging from politics to what gives you peace. The 7-track audiobook is available for download on nearly 300 platforms, including (but not limited to) Apple Music, Itunes, Amazon, Spotify, Tidal, and other platforms. His follow up, The Author’s Mixtape: volume 2 – Beyond the holi-daze.
