Jana Starks born June 21st was born in Tyler Texas, but grew up most of her life in Dallas TX. As a child she was always. She began being very active at a young age. In school she participated as a ballerina, gymnast, girl scouts, choir, drama class, and choir. Once Jana reached high school she had dreams to graduate and become a nurse. Her dreams had to be put on hold her senior year when she became a teenage mom. Although she was not in the career that she wanted, she still felt no regrets and immediately kicked into mommy mode. Today she is the proud mother of four handsome boys to whom she loves dearly and believes her children are her pushers, her reasons to go harder than the next. Currently Jana works at her local hospital as a patient access representative. Over the years she has managed to graduate from medical assistant school and complete some college courses. It was only recently she says God spoke to her heart and led her to become a writer since then she has published two books. Her first book "Breaking Free My Victory over Domestic Violence" covers her story of domestic violence she endured while with her children's father. Her second book "Under the Cover" is based on the repeated cycle of child molestation inspired by the many people who felt as if they had no voice or no one to tell about this tragedy. Jana hopes to continue writing more books that faces reality the topics no one wants to talk about. She also hopes to become a best selling author and continue to be a motivational speaker for domestic violence.
