A Virginia native, Malicia Bond found her passion for writing at an early age. Fear stood in her way for years and she finally took the leap of faith. She’s finally ready to share her work with the world and can’t wait for everyone to indulge. Outside of creating stories, Malicia enjoys hanging out with her family and friends. To stay connected with Malicia, follow her IG: Malicyrus or Facebook: Malicia Bond

About her book: A fairytale love story. That’s what most females wish for. However, love isn’t always peaches and cream. A 29-year-old travel nurse Raelynn, affectionately called Rae, has definitely learned this lesson. Building a life with her boyfriend Quan for the last 4 years has been her goal with marriage and children as the main prize. Unfortunately, her woman’s intuition kicks in, alerting her that Quan is sneakily hiding something but she just can’t seem to figure it out. Once Rae uncovers Quan’s secret, the ricochet is never-ending, costing her and hurting her in multiple ways. But when the ricochet bounce in a direction that she is not ready to go, will Rae let her trauma with Quan keep her from a promising future that she didn’t know she needed?

Talented make-up artist and salon owner, 29-year old Tamia, preferably called Tee, is Raelynn’s best friend and the girlfriend of Trent—Quan’s best friend. However, their relationship is not always what it seems. Hiding and keeping her business close to the vest has caused Tamia more harm than good. When Tamia overhears Trent spilling his double life, all hell breaks loose, putting her on the wrong side of a love song. When fate steps in and gives her a second chance of live and love, will Tamia take advantage of this new opportunity and go afterward what she deserves? Or will she let Trent detain her from living her best life?
In her thrilling new African American urban fiction debut novel, upcoming author Malicia Bond is serving up everything. From betrayal to living a double life to daily torment to distrust. However, love and loyalty are on display too. See what happens when you’re caught up loving a Houston thug and they show just how good their loving can be.

Born and raised in Harlem, New York, Authoress Nai has always been ahead of her time. Her love for writing and reading gave her the confidence to submit her first novel to a popular publishing house. After completing her first three book series, she pushed forward in the game, building and expanding her reader base. As she continues to build a name in the Urban Fiction industry as The Hood Love Dealer, Nai’s goal has always been to highlight hood romance in all of its many facets. With her witty sense of humor and her NY swag, she has the ability to bring her characters alive and take her readers on a journey they never forget.
About her book:

It’s Summertime and the last thing on anyone’s mind is a relationship, especially with someone whose introduction to you isn’t a pleasant one. Meet Charisma, a slick talking, goal driven, single, twenty-six-year-old whose sole focus is her peace, her career, and her tight knit circle. With no time for any man who can’t hold a conversation, or doesn’t have his life planned out, it’s safe to say that she has a type, and the babyface hitta, Hasan isn’t it. At least she thinks so, until he invades her space, taking her by complete surprise with his gangsta and gentlemen personality.
Hasan is a no nonsense hitta whose time is dedicated to raising his two-year-old daughter and being the enforcer for his uncle’s drug organization. Between playing those two roles, he rarely has time for anything else until an unexpected encounter with Charisma leaves a lasting impression on him.
They say chance encounters are the one’s you least expect with people who drop into your life out of nowhere. This tale of like, intrigue, and hood romance will surely make for a Summer to remember.
