Recently, James was also a featured author at the BCCLS BooksNJ2015 Book Festival at Paramus Library in Paramus, NJ.  He also wrote and co-produced his three-act play, "A Dream Preserved."  "Beyond the Event Horizon" is his first published book of poetry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Artful and Intellectual!
Bybohemianpoeton February 19, 2016
Format: Kindle Edition
I really enjoyed reading this poetry collection. James C Ellerbe has written a very honest book that is inspiring and revealing, unafraid to share parts of his life that most men hide. The story of his evolution from a lost young man, looking to find himself to a mature man ready to turn a new page with the love of his life that God made him ready for is done in a logical but unpredictable and unique way. A lot of time and thought went into this work and his in-depth narratives in each chapter, along with the detailed introduction are welcoming to anyone who is interested in reading a rich book of poems. Two of my favorites to which I could fully relate were "The Outcast" and ""You Don't Love Me, You Love My Poetry". There are others, but you'll have to read them for yourself. I'm a selective reader and if a book does not grab my attention in the first five pages, I won't read anymore. On my first read-through I give it 5 Stars. It's a keeper!

K.L. Hall is a 25-year old African-American contemporary fiction author from Virginia. She has published five books and ghostwritten as well. While Hall is widely known for her breakout series, "Diary of a Hood Princess," her literary journey didn't start there. Before signing to a publishing company in fall 2013, she self-published two e-shorts, "Bi-Curious" and "House of Cards." Those books were added to "Sexy Little Secrets," a compilation of short stories by the author in 2015.

Hall's introduction to the "Diary of a Hood Princess" series was released under Blaque Diamond Publications in winter 2013. The sequel, "Diary of a Hood Princess 2," and the finale, "Diary of a Hood Princess 3: Justice's Revenge," were released in 2014. Hall was also a part of the first Blaque Diamond Publications anthology book, "Act like a Lady, Think like a Boss: Vegas," which also released in 2014.

Hall discovered her love for writing in elementary school, and knew that writing would continue to be a vital part of her life. She has been featured in blog and radio interviews, press interviews and on Vibe.com as the Vibe Vixen of the Day in 2012.

She continues to write independently and has many projects in store for 2016, including the launch of K.L. Hall Productions. She is excited to share that and more with her readers. Be sure to join her email list to stay updated with her future releases and appearances.

About her book
Rise of a Street King: The Justice Silva Story

Set in the projects of Brooklyn, NY, a young Justice Silva learns that every action has a reaction, and no matter how long things seem to be going good, trouble is never far behind. Bred with a good heart like his mother, but cut from the same cloth as his father, he finds himself early on, caught in the middle of adolescence and adulthood as he struggles to piece together the puzzle of becoming a man.

Written in the words of Justice Silva, Rise of a Street King takes you through the transitions of this troubled Brooklyn youth to his subsequent rise to street fame and fortune as one of New York’s most memorable drug dealers.

If you enjoyed the roller coaster ride Justice gave you in the Diary of a Hood Princess series, this heart-pounding novel will leave you breathless as you encounter the back stories behind some of your favorite characters—Kris and Lyric.

This intense narrative will keep you wondering, with his enemies, friends and family out to get him, how does he survive?

Captivating! Great Read!

The next time I open up one of K.L's novels I will make sure its not right before bed, I couldn't stop reading until "The End." I love books that lock me in until the last word. The flow alone lets you know that this author knows her craft. I didn't have to back track to figure out who, what, when, where, and why. I felt like I knew each character personally sharing moments of joy, sadness, and relief with them. I even dodged a few bullets lol.

Poor Justice had a lot of hard decisions to make and lessons to learn. Easier said than realized that sometimes you have to lose to win.

Great job K.L.

Meet Leila Lacey

Love comes in many shapes and sizes. Rising Michigan Author Leila Lacey writes from the heart about the trials and tribulations of love and romance from a plus size woman’s perspective. With over 12 popular books on Amazon to date, she’s steadily claiming her space as a new romantic fiction author to keep an eye on.
Bow down to the curves. That’s the philosophy that’s motivated romantic fiction author Leila Lacey as she’s wrote over a dozen popular books taking a hot and exciting look at love and adventure from a strong, curvy woman’s viewpoint. The books have been received with enthusiasm, and it’s clear the best is yet to come for these BBW romances (Big Beautiful Woman).
“I think it’s important to present strong, beautiful, curvy women that have amazing female to female relationships,” commented Lacey, on what motivates her. “If we don’t provide alternative role models for people, they could fall into the trap of not loving who is looking them back in the mirror. Romantic fiction should entertain, but it should also help build confidence and a great self-image. I’m trying to cover all these things and more in my books.”

According to the author, Lacey had a quite unexpected entry into writing. Although always interested in being a writer she never explored her skills fully until being convinced to join a writing contest. Within 30 days she had finished her first novel, won the contest, and never looked back. An example of a woman with confidence proving to herself, and the world, what can be accomplished when dreams are pursued actively.

Some of her most popular books in the plus size women genre include: Phoenix Rising; A Very Curvy Christmas; Dr. Black’s Patient; Love’s Legacy; Shelby’s Awakening; and many, many more.

Readers have responded to her work with enthusiasm.
A.C., recently said about Phoenix Rising in a five star Amazon review, “Wow this book was an emotional roll coaster, but I loved each every twist and turn. I don’t wait to give to much away because people haven’t read it yet. Phoenix is a sexy plus size woman who is smart, strong, and loving. I can’t wait to read more about these guys. I give this book five stars and a must read! Keep up the wonderful work Leila!”

Darryl J. Johnson grew up reading everything by Stephen King and sneaking to read his mom’s Harlequin novels thus learning the power of words and mental imagery from two very unlikely sources. In his adult years he was introduced to Zane, E. Lynn Harris, Eric Jerome Dickey and Michael Baisden and his mind was blown! They made mommas Harlequin novels look like a Nancy Drew Mystery and his truly erotic side was awakened.
Darryl developed and refined his raw and often graphic style of writing in the Georgia prison system. He was encouraged to publish his poetry by a nosy, yet well intentioned, girlfriend when he forgot to hide his “rhyme book” any curiosity got the better of her.

Writing mostly erotic short stories and poetry Darryl likes to tell people “I don’t have a dirty mind; I have a very sexy imagination.”

About his book
Cunning Linguist

From a bold, new and captivating voice comes a collection of stories that delves into women’s darkest passions and pushes the boundaries of erotic fiction.

Sometimes romantic, sometimes exceptionally raw, Darryl J. Johnson appeals to men and women alike with these tales of intoxicating sensuality.

Here, Darryl presents an erotic read with a unique ability to tell it how it is…and also to tell it like it could be in your wildest dreams and fantasies.

Darryl crafts stories about everyone from the under sexed recent divorcee and the stud muffin paper boy to an adult version of the beloved 1960’s TV series “I Dream of Jeannie”
By turns sexy and outrageous, Cunning Linguist is a pleasure from beginning to end.

Darryl J. Johnson is also the author of Mental Penetrayshun, Mindgazm, and Climaxxx.
He lives in Washington County, Georgia.

Name 3 things about yourself readers may not know
1) I'm super shy in crouds
2) I stutter when I get nervous
3) I'm a welder

What is your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspiration are the people that said that I write too nasty or laughed when i asked them to purchase my book. I use my nay-sayers to make me greater.

What led up to you becoming an author?
I've been writing semi-seriously since high school. back then I used my way with words to get females to overlook my stutter and give a shy brother a chance. I published my first book of erotic poetry after my then girlfriend found my rhyme book and provided me with the positive reinforcement needed to take the necessary steps to self publication.

How would you describe your writing style?
My writing style is best described as raw, extremely graphic, uncut and down right nasty at times

What would you say is the most important thing an author should do before publishing his/her book?
Read aloud line for line then edit and re-edit.

If you could go back and change one thing about your book, what would it be?
Spend more money on graphic design lol

When you’re not writing, what are you doing?
When I'm not writing or working my day job I'm spending time with my kids...my army of nine (8 boys and 1 very protected little girl)

How can readers and others in the literary community reach you?
Facebook, Darryl J. Johnson, and my page, Mental Penetrayshun, are the best ways to reach me

Name 3 things about yourself readers may not know
I'm a first time romance author
I have no middle name
I don't like my food touching

What is your biggest inspiration?
My biggest is to start a school. I have an entire list of other ones on that level. :-)

What led up to you becoming an author?
I was at a rough point in my life and decided it was either write about it or cry about it. I started writing what I wanted, it turned into a story and the rest is history. Four days later, there was The Chase!

How would you describe your writing style?
My style is very relaxed, down to earth and for the most part how everyday people talk. I may throw a word or two in there that is 'country' an SAT word or just something I made up. I like reading novels like this, so I tend to write like this as well.

What would you say is the most important thing an author should do before publishing his/her book?
Do plenty of research! Hire a good editor and send your book through several edits before publishing.

If you could go back and change one thing about your book, what would it be?
I would have sent my book through my editor a few more times. Seriously! :-)
When you’re not writing, what are you doing?
When I'm not writing, these days I am marketing. When I'm not doing that, I am preparing or working on my many other ventures. I also spend time with my nieces and nephews.

An Amazing Contemporary Romance Worth Reading!

Sometimes an author can have the ability to write a fantastic romance book as a piece of fiction, but a true writer can also use the same topics of a fiction storyline and put it into a real-life non-fiction. And that is what Author, Devian Nikei has accomplished with "Just In Case."

A romance story that at times gets a wee bit "out there," but reels you back in with her character Justin, a no-good cheater and womanizer who finally comes to his senses of real inner self-awareness. Wanting to change to be a better man and reclaim his life back as the real man he knows he can be!

That story can easily be set in a real non-fiction read. The author has done an exceptional writing style and deliverance. Some area's of the story does have a "fantasy & mystic feel " to it, but overall I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Who says the love of a good woman can not get a man to see who he really is in a mirror and make him want to change FOR LOVE and for his WOMAN?

Very Happy to be given this e-book to read and do an Honest Book Review for Author, Devian Nikei..
Highly Recommend this one to Romance Readers!

The Cheater's Wife

Is it worth prison? Is it worth losing your marriage? Is it worth your life? Stephanie Perez-Jenkins, Monet Cartier, and Dr. Aubry Johnston never planned to become Cheater’s Wives, but when they do, it turns their lives upside down.
This dramatic sequel has lots of unsuspecting twists and turns and is full of eye-popping drama. It’s easy to say what you won’t do, until you are a Cheater’s Wife.

Never Underestimate....
By Shatisha N on October 3, 2015
Format: Kindle Edition
The Cheater’s Wife is the third book I have read by author Nikay Rountree. The Cheater's Wife was a different type of book than most being released lately. I appreciate when authors decide to be different and write outside the box on topics that relate to real life situations. The editing issues were minor if any at all. I feel that editing is essential in addition to having a great story-line for it is a representation of your brand and essentially you to those who read your work. With that being said author Nikay Rountree does a good job at this aspect.

Stephanie: I honestly at times felt sorry for her and the things she went through and then other times I was angry that the things she tolerated. I would like to say I would have never done what she did. However, until you have problems that you are forced to deal with you truly do not know what you are willing and capable of doing. Rage has a way of making you “see red” and all you know to do is to respond. I am curious as to what will happen in her future. How she will she respond to situations etc. since she has had time to assess it all. Hopefully, part 2 expands on what happens in her story.

Dr. Johnston: This character made me give the author the side-eye lol. Although, she called herself helping people, and she probably was helping in her way, however, the way she came across was wrong. It is easy to be judgmental when you are not in situations yourself. Her demeanor made me want to knock her down to reality. I can’t wait to see how she responds when the shoe is on the other foot. I don’t even think she has enough backbone to handle it… I don’t want to be happy that she has to face dilemmas of her own but how can you give advice if you haven’t dealt with it yourself?

I am excited for part two! Hopefully, we get more conclusion from each perspective. I think this is going to be another good series from author Nikay Rountree.
