Meet Noyek

Picture
Noyek is the unapologetic author of Dear Infatuated and lover of all books sexy! Her love for urban fiction dates back to her early teen years when she used to enjoy reading the latest arrival of her older sister’s Black Expressions Book Club subscription. She is the founder of The Sassy Writer, a site which focuses on developing writers and connecting readers to their new favorite authors.

About her book

Two years ago while lying next to the lifeless body of her boyfriend, Bonnie made herself a promise. If she got out of this mess alive, she would never date a hustler again.

She made it out and graduated NYU rising among the elites at a record pace. She was where she belonged, among the movers and shakers. It was here she met Rodney and realized that somewhere the game had changed.

Rodney was the epitome of her weakness, sexy, smart and powerful, and if he was also a businessman, trying to leave the game, does that mean that technically he’s not a hustler?

Maybe. But, an unexpected meeting revealed that Bonnie had more significant issues at hand. Someone knew her secret. Bonnie wasn’t her real name, and they had witnessed the murder of her ex two years ago. What she didn’t know was that they also knew who put out the hit and that there was a new one.

She quickly learns that things aren’t always as they seem, and loyalty is only as good as the highest bid.

Picture
Tyrika Felder was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. From an early age, Tyrika always knew she wanted to become a writer. Growing up she wrote poems and short stories as a pass time and took classes for journalism while in high school. Although, she moved around a lot in her late teens and early adulthood, Tyrika began her book at the age of eighteen inspite of her many obstacles. Throughout the years, she has worked diligently to be a great mom, work and provide for her household, obtain her Associate's Degree and still birth her first book. She is a talented poetic writer with a vivid imagination that she uses along with her own personal experiences to create exciting stories that are relatable. She enjoys helping others and uses her writing to shed light on issues that many families are ashamed to speak about. It is her dream to one day have a movie based on one of her books. She is the proud mother of two beautiful children and currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland.

Book Synopsis:

Talia Smith grew up in Tunnock Station, on the other side of the tracks, from the suburbs in Pennsylvania. At five years old, her life was turned upside down, and the family was ripped apart when her father was sentenced to prison for a horrific crime. Shortly after, Talia went through a series of traumatic events from abuse, running away, and even homelessness at one point. None of that stopped Talia as she continued to push forward with a goal to get out of Tunnock Station and never have to depend on anyone ever again in life. Taking a chosen career path as an exotic dancer to help fulfill her dream of independency, Talia also tries to live a normal lifestyle at home with her boyfriend, Cam. Cam is motivation for Talia to become independent, and the open relationship they have allows her to come and go as she pleases and him to fulfill his own career as the youngest partner at his law firm. All is going well until Talia discovers devastating news and, in her emotional state, connects on a level she has never felt before with a new flame. Always been one to dance to the beat of her own drum, Talia must make a decision on where she wants her life to lead: her white-picket fence with Cam or a life of passion and suspense. This story is loosely based on true events in which many families struggle with daily. Any type of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or sexual can be detrimental to a child’s success. It is the author’s hope to shed light on the many stories like this one to help those who struggle from the mental illnesses that come not only from the situation itself but from the thought of having to hide it their entire lives.

I'm a native of Kansas City, Missouri. I discovered my gift for writing at seven years old when I wrote my first song. I just write whatever comes to mind, it's natural for me. I have one daughter and I plan on taking my talents as far as they can go.

Book Synopsis:

Here I was making bad choices in men again. What was still missing from my childhood that I kept retracing back to find. I guess I didn’t learn from that one relationship... Brian, came into my life in such dismay and even though I wasn’t attracted to him at first the draw of the picture was there. Oh and not excluding the fact of him just being released from prison. With me having a heart of gold not thinking rationally let him into my world that I couldn’t be prepared for this gruesome, diabolical, lustful fiasco I endured. The same man I feared I sought protection from. What was my lesson in this, to put my trust in man or back in God and what was Brian’s motive all along. My story shows my fight through the justice system and how I was once a victim turned villain and rehabilitating myself back into society again.

Meet Marcus Bouldin

Marcus Bouldin, an author writing under the pseudonym Ali Shakur is also the CEO of ANB House of Royalty, a premier publication company in the urban genre. Marcus began his journey as a writer in 2017. After a year of his first manuscript being looked over by many established publishing companies, Marcus decided he would self-publish his own book. The beginning of 2018, Marcus stepped out on faith and launched ANB House of Royalty and released his first book titled “Loyalty: Episode 1 - The Beginning. With little to no knowledge of how the publishing or author game work, Marcus navigated his way through the trenches, while learning the tricks of the trade. Following the release of “Loyalty: Episode 1, Marcus became determined not to be just another here today and gone tomorrow author or publisher, so he increased his networking ability through social media, traveling and interacting with other independent authors. And soon after, his following began to grow and so did his confidence and motivation to be a successful author with the ability to run a publication company that’s second to none.

Loyalty: Episode 1, is the start of the Loyalty series and is sure to take you on an emotional roller coaster ride. Readers of “Loyalty” have given it 5 stars across the board. Below are a few 5 star reviews from readers. “Amazing book! Definitely worth reading and I recommend everyone to check it out. I can’t wait for the next one!” -Bria “Wow this book is definitely a page turner. It was so realistic, I notice sometimes with books it can seem so unrealistic which I hate! It is definitely a roller coaster ride and keeps you at the edge of your seat ! I would give 10000 stars if I could!!!! Can’t wait for more books!!” -Amazon purchaser “Story was light with a sprinkle of humor. The characters were relatable and easy to like. I found myself secretly wishing success for Zeke and G. I’m intrigued to see what happens next.” -Veronica

UBAWA (Urban Books, Authors, & Writers of America) named Ali Shakur one of top 100 authors of 2018. When asked who are some people he looked up to, his response was “Sean Diddy Combs”. “I’ve always admired how Diddy conduct his business. Rather it be Bad Boy Entertainment, Ciroc, Sean John or whatever it is. His no nonsense approach to handling his business and getting deals done to grow his portfolio is truly astonishing. I want ANB House of Royalty to be what Sean Enterprise is to Diddy. An umbrella of different ventures. Most successful people have a quote that motivates them more than any other quote. When Marcus was asked what his go to quote is, he replied, “Are you the same animal, but a different beast?” The meaning behind it he says, depends on how the person views it; it can mean something different to each person. For him it means stay true to who you are, but understand that you must transform yourself into a beast to accomplish goals and overcome any obstacles. Well alrighty then Mr. Bouldin! With momentum on his side, Marcus Bouldin aka Ali Shakur is rolling full steam ahead with no clear sign of him stopping. And I’m glad I’m here for all of it!
