Tissanie Simmons “Dreaming Beyond Disparities”

Picture
“As an ambitious, innovative and creative leader at work, my goal is to inspire and challenge urban women and youth to dream beyond disparities and to encourage them to not only dream but follow through to achieve them. From a young age I have always known that my experiences could be used to encourage and lend a voice to those who have been exposed to similar trials and set backs of urban life.
Recognized by my peers as the “Dream Builder,” building up others and mentoring has become my passion. Through writing my hope is to connect with the urban community in ways traditional urban novels and stories have missed; connecting, building up, and giving a message of hope and prosperity.

Graduate of Judson University with earned Bachelors in Science & Mathematics. I was recognized as a campus leader and a collegiate athlete. Upon graduation, went back to school to become a Registered Nurse and earned Masters in Healthcare Informatics.”

Being tossed to and fro from one foster home to the next, Belinda is placed with John and Victoria Brittingham. These people are who any child would be overjoyed to live with and have as parents. A beautiful home, a room of there own, new clothes and toys would be a dream come true. But what lies behind the walls of this house is hardly what little Belinda dreamed of, and she will find out in the worse way, the secrets it harbors.

Tanisha Renee Gladney, aka Tee Renee, a native of Oakland, CA, mother of three handsome boys, and self-proclaimed "Jill of All Trades," fell in love with writing and telling stories as a little girl. Her mother says that ever since she could talk, Tee Renee would give you every detail of the story instead of just giving you the highlights like most people do. Her first try at public writing was a poem she wrote for a Black History program in high school and she has been hooked ever since. Through the years Tee Renee has been involved in writing by helping people with various writing projects, lending her literary skills to Swag Magazine CA, FORMation Magazine and literaryjewelsonline.com, as a contributing writer, interviewer and editor, and blogging on a variety of subjects. After years of keeping ideas, story lines and characters in her head and heart, Tee Renee has finally decided to share this gift with the world. As an avid reader herself, she thrives for the kind of story that makes you feel like you are right there with the characters and that is exactly the kind of feeling she intends to give to her readers through her projects. A brand new author to the literary world, she is extremely excited about sharing her imagination with the world. Her first series, Neighborhood Kandii, gives you a glimpse of what’s to come. In her spare time Tee Renee enjoys cuddling up with a good book, watching movies, and spending time with her loved ones. Her life’s mantra is ‘To love hard, live everyday as if it was your last, and laugh until you can no longer breathe’!

About her book, I’m Free: 30 Days to a Stress Free Life

Meet Kendra Spencer

Picture
Kendra Spencer also affectionately known as Prince was born September 12, 1989 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her childhood consisted of vast amounts of hours spent on reading and carrying duffel bags full of books to and from the public library.
Picture
Stepping into her teenaged years, she began to notice the books she was reading did not depict the environment around her, thus a writer was born. The nickname Prince came about from classmates, due to Zane being very popular around the time and dubbed the Queen of erotica. Zane's steamy stories were making their way across the hands of her classmates, so Kendra Spencer at the tender age of fourteen was inspired to write her own vivid sex scenes. While the nickname is derived from a young adults standpoint Kendra Spencer still strives to be known one day as a major heavy hitter in the erotic fiction genre. When Prince is not reading or writing you can find her working with individuals that have developmental disabilities or engaged in a semi-professional women’s football game where she is a proud athlete #33 of the Cincinnati Sizzle (USWFL 2016 Champions).

About her book

Playing Games is a lesbian love triangle in which Ronnie a stud is caught between love and lust. On one hand she has a young feisty fem by the name of Kenni. On the other hand, lust from a beautiful older woman is throwing itself in the most provocative way possible at Ronnie. What’s a young stud to do but play the game and see who wins?

Life is short and T saw firsthand how playing games can be hazardous to one's health. However, a charming, polished, witty, not to mention handsome stud such as T has always juggled a team of women to cater to her every and any sexual desire. So, what could one woman honestly do for a player that multiple can't?
