Linette King is a twenty six year old single mother of three from Moss Point. She was raised by her mother, Sharron King and stepfather, Terry Phillips in a household of six children. Her children, Aaliyah (5), Alannah (4) and Justin (1) are her pride and joy but they are also one of the main reasons why she decided to take a leap of faith and make writing professionally a part of her life. She figured if she wouldn’t take a chance and follow her dreams then how could she expect them to follow theirs.
After having her heart broken, she decided to focus on something that she loved and ended up submitting chapters of a book to different publishers and was signed to True Glory Publications November of 2015. Within her first 12 months of writing, she’d successfully completed twenty eight different titles. From the day that she was signed to today, she has written thirty two titles while maintaining a full time job. In the year of 2016, she was invited to host a “Right your vision” workshop in Memphis, Tennessee as well as speak to a group of people. The workshop covered figuring out your ‘Why?’ ‘What?’ ‘How?’ ‘When?’ and ‘Who?’ when it came down to your life and your goals. It was during the workshop that she realized she had a passion for motivating others. As she spoke about the way she speaks to her family and friends, she realized everyone needed a motivator in their life - someone that would push them to do more. That’s when she became ‘The Pusher.’ She's known for her hit series "Addicted to him" "She use to be the sweetest girl" and many more. Not wanting to be boxed into an urban genre, she stepped out and wrote 7 short horror books for Halloween and has even stepped out and wrote a suspense stand-alone book titled "A Mother's Revenge" She loves to connect with readers so feel free to find her on facebook (Linette King), instagram (@author.linetteking) twitter (@iamLinetteKing) snapchat (linette2t) and email ([email protected])
