As a child growing up in the inner city projects Leslie faced her fair share of grief and turmoil. Vowing to never be a statistic, she graduated high school and completed college. Now as an adult, she focuses on building lasting relationships and inspiring youth to dedicate themselves to their dreams.

Spending time with her extended family of youth, Leslie enjoys, writing, working out and taking on new adventures. Presently she is attending school to get her Masters in Business Management, training to become a Personal Trainer, coaching youth sports teams and putting her pen to paper to write more novels.
