First Lady K was born in the small town of Gatesville, Texas and has proven to be a true Southern Belle. Known to many as Miss Thicker than a Snicker, she spent her teenage years sneaking and reading authors such as Zane and Omar Tyree and it was then that she fell in love with urban fiction. Growing up, she would create characters through her short stories and poetry. Experiencing trauma at an early age, she used writing to deal with the sufferings she faced throughout her life and writing became her outlet. As she got older, she promised herself that she was going to tell her story. It was in 2014 that she became serious and put her fingers to the keys, debuting her first series, It Ain’t Trickin’ If You Got It, under Royalty Publishing House. The rest as they say….is history.

She considers herself a modern day Renaissance woman because of her various talents, accolades, and skills which include a Bachelor of Arts from Bennett College for Women, and a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and Human Services from Liberty University. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated to whom she believes has greatly contributed to her character of womanhood through their constant support and love. She is an avid member in the community to which she organized and spearheads the Hunger Doesn’t End With the Holidays campaign designed to feed needy families year round.

She is the founder and CEO of First Lady K Presents, established in January 2016, and has many successful authors that display their literary talents to the world. Currently she is signed to David Weaver Presents and has published eleven titles to date, with her latest release When Wifey is the Plug. She now resides in Greensboro, North Carolina with her husband and three beautiful sons.
When asks what makes her writing style so unique, she responds, “My writing style is eclectic. I show my art in the words I write. Welcome to my exhibition.”
What’s next? Only her pen knows……

About her book, When Wifey is the Plug

They say behind every great man, lies a great woman. But when it comes to Silk and Reyna, a wife has so many roles...

DeAndre "Silk" Weaver is the epitome of a dope boy in every way, and Reyna Miller has proven to be more than the average ride or die chick. Falling in love, and saying "I Do", Reyna is ready to settle down and be a family woman. But when a situation arises that shakes her world, she's forced to once again hold her man down, and betrayal hits her from those she least expects.

The roles are reversed and Reyna is taking over, letting it be known that she is more than just a pretty face. But her own secrets can cost her the only man she's ever loved.
The deeper she gets into the game, the harder it is to get out.

This book was definitely 5 star & the author knows exactly how to have you coming back for more. The relationship alone between Reyna & Silk held my interest. His occupation & her position just added to it. There are definitely some situations in this book that will be good for discussions. Like I originally thought Reyna was smart & that true ride or die but I guess after her emotional loss, she changed because the whole Kendrick situation was just questionable to me. Was she too far over her head or was it her form of revenge for Silks' actions. I understand using Danielle but why throw Detric under the bus, not knowing what could happen. Like I said, this book will definitely have you on edge & talking to the characters in your head! Ready for part 2 to see what other drama unfolds.
