Book Title: The Arrangement Number of Pages: 418 Rating: 5 Fiction/Non-Fiction: Fiction Who would you recommend this book to? Friends, family, and coworkers who are looking for a great read What did you like most about this book? Phenomenal book! The author did an amazing job developing the storyline. What did you like least about this book? I did not like the ending. There was enough drama without the ladies having to result to those measures. I would have loved to see Portia grow more and calmed down. Any suggestions for how this book could have been better? I saw no errors; this was a phenomenal book. Great job Shay Gray! Reviewed by: Nadia McAllister ************************************* Initially I wanted to score "The Arrangement" a tad bit lower, due mainly to the lack of believability. I then realized there was something that made me continue reading. As an avid book reader and reviewer I would have purchased the book because the title peeked my interest. However, I would be leery about additional purchases. My overall impression is that it's a good book. Although it had some things I personally think need improving, I have already recommended it to several individuals. Book Title: The Arrangement Number of Pages: 418 Rating: 3 Fiction/Non-Fiction: Fiction Who would you recommend this book to? Young adults who enjoy urban fiction. What did you like most about this book? What I liked most was the language was extremely simple and easy to follow. My overall point of view is that it was entertaining. The book moves at a relaxing pace and at times is absorbing. You have no time to be bored because there is always something going on. What did you like least about this book? What I disliked was that much of the book was not believable at all. There were too many extreme twists and turns, and too many spoilers. The characters were not well developed. Example being Teyah & Terrance Jr. It was not enough character development to feel emotionally attached or feel a sense of sadness for them. Any suggestions for how this book could have been better? The author has great potential. My suggestions would be to cut down on the amount of characters in a novel. Even an avid reader will get overwhelmed with trying to bond with so many characters. Use your twists and spoilers sparingly and blow us away all of sudden. Take some of the characters in "The Arrangement" and expand on them in a second book. Reviewed by: Tonya Dallas
