Margaret Dawson Brown was born in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Martin Luther King High and Catherine Scott Secretarial School. She worked for the United States Postal Service for 23 years. She is the author of “As I Travel through the Valley of Death”
This book is about a sister's fight for justice. When the justice system refused to investigate the death of James Dawson who died while being detained for a traffic violation under very unusual and suspicious circumstances, his sister Margaret did not let that stop her. For 10 years she spent documenting, gathering as much incriminating evidence as possible, and reconstructing the day in question. Her book is like a Murder She Wrote mystery, only it's the reality of what she had to go through to get this story out. Margaret's journey was like no other and she stands on the belief that God chose her to be her brother's voice.
