A Kept Woman by Jai Amor

Sometimes a mistress is the wife you met too late. She's your friend and your lover, your confidante.  You care for her like you would your wife, providing her with the things a man should provide his woman.  You find yourself in awe of her every move and showing her off to the world, as though she belongs to you alone.
Forty-three year old Harvey Darnell is the owner of a computer software company and husband to a shiny little trophy wife. Blaire has the perfect body, perfect smile and perfect hair. She is utterly and without a doubt perfect. His doll to play with. But he is not in love with her, nor has he ever been. Their marriage was based solely on a contract.

Twenty-one-year old Kimi Townsend is a high school graduate and single mother. She spends every ounce of her time between school, work, and motherhood. Kimi has nothing near a charmed life and doesn't have any time to kick up her feet and sit back.
When the two cross paths, nothing could prepare them for the momentous changes coming in their lives.

Jessica L. Taylor is no stranger to counterfeit love. In her first book, “No Matter What—U CAN MAKE IT,” she opens up to you and let you know just how much having a poor-self image can be to your destruction. Jessica tells you about her stint with cocaine, being severely depressed, trying to commit suicide, and living in extreme poverty, to now living and no longer merely existing. Being in the wrong relationship, with the wrong person can be your demise. Jessica gives you testimony after testimony of the pressures of life that she has endured. In this book, she sets a stage for the delivering power of God and affirms, NO MATTER WHAT—YOU CAN MAKE IT.”

If a man pays his dues, is he ever out of debt? Are his past mistakes ever forgiven? In our struggle to protect the helpless, have we lost the ability to determine who is innocent? Gregory Torti may not have the perfect past, but learned from his mistakes and was ready to move on. The justice system has a different idea of him, and no matter the facts it is willing to cast aside reasonable doubt. Just as Gregory was ready to live the honest American dream, he is thrown into a battle for true freedom.

Pause~ by Mia Bell

Some people like to call it the dash, that middle line that’s written on every tombstone, but I like to call it ma-pause... Yeah, I like making up new words which you will see throughout this journey. I had lots of missed pauses throughout my life, being so busy doing, but if it hadn’t been for the Lawd, you hear me, wait now, let me say that again, if it hadn’t been for the Lawd, I wouldn’t have learned how to become a professional pauser.
