Quintessa Turner is an up and coming novelist who shares her message by presenting characters who face real-life struggles and overcome them.
Before launching her literary career, Quintessa spent her younger years reading, developing her business, and obtaining degrees. Many of the books she read she could relate to. The characters seemed so real that she could place herself in the lives of those she read about. She began to write poetry, but that dream died. After marrying and having children, the events that occurred around her inspired her to write urban fiction novels. When not writing, Quintessa spends time with her family, runs a home care business with her business partner, and just enjoys life. With the blessing of God, she will continue to be an inspiration to her readers and give them nothing but page- turners.

She now shares her secrets to success with women via exclusive retreats, one on one coaching sessions, and invitation only workshops. That first book, along with the success of her best-selling legal thriller Adequate Counsel, pushed O. R. Johnson into a full time writing career. With fiction and nonfiction books under her belt as well as several completed screenplays, O. R. Johnson has no plans of slowing down anytime soon. Using writing as a way to express herself creatively, O.R. Johnson is breaking down barriers by telling the stories that need to be heard in a way that ignites a fire for change. Remaining true to her passion to encourage others, O. R. Johnson launched her radio show Bet on Yourself in 2016, a show which aims to motivate and inspire aspiring, new, and longtime entrepreneurs. Howell the Author has proven herself to be a creative, unique writer of fiction Christian romance and suspense My pseudonym is Diamond Skye. I have been writing since Junior High School. I am a writer of adult fiction, more specifically, explicit content.
My writing may be inspired by a song, a conversation, but is solely from the recesses of my mind. Dark Knight and Blue Skye were originally one book, but I felt they were too long so I split them. I write to cater to the readers, not unlike myself, who reads before bed or between meetings. My chapters are short to enable my readers to read them without feeling overwhelmed. I try to paint a picture and be as authentic as possible. My dream is to have my books made into major motion pictures. I come from humble beginnings. I was born and raised by two hard working parents in a South Bronx projects. I obtained an undergraduate and graduate degrees. I am a single mother of two amazing young men. I moved my family to Florida in search of a better life for my sons. Now my youngest son is a senior in High School and my eldest son is in the United States Navy. I am very passionate about writing and character development. Maurice M. Consequently, she had plenty of time to hone her writing skills while on punishment, and continued to develop her talent later while obtaining a B.A. in Psychology at Spelman College. In 2012, she published her 1st book for her social media friends and family to see. To her surprise, it went viral, repeatedly reaching #1 on Amazon's top 100 for its genre. With her new fan base cheering for more, this mother and wife has blossomed into a witty and cunning author, penning spicy, realistic and deadly tales of African American Romantic Suspense.
I am 27 years old born and raised in Washington D.C. I am outspoken, laid back and writing is my passion. It started off with reading because books provide a way of escape and allow you to see things from different perspectives. Writing allows me to share experiences that people can probably relate to but probably can’t articulate. I write stories that are true lies because they represent the things I have seen or done. Because everybody has a story to tell but not necessarily the ability to tell it. I'm motivated by the struggle because it's real and what I come from, but I held onto dreams of better things. I represent Washington D.C which is a melting pot of multicultural backgrounds, so when I write, I do it in hopes that everyone can relate somehow. I give all glory to God for my creative talent, and I remain humble by all that I was given. I am inspired by my fans because it is crazy that I have fans; that is something else I am humbled by. The best way to describe me is a rose that grew from concrete (shout out to Tupac). If you don't like me it's okay to hate me because I was born for this and I live life on my own terms. I do it my way.
