    • FAQ
When did you know you wanted to become a writer?: I think on some level, I always knew I wanted to write although I thought I would become an investigative journalist at first.  Then I realized I had too much of a creative flair for that type of writing, so I turned to fiction which better suited me.

Is there a specific message in your book you want your readers to grasp?: I want readers to know that African Americans can have normal functioning families that support each other and help each other.  They can send their kids to college for something other than an athletic scholarship and do great things.

How long have you been writing? What genre do you write? : I write cultural romance and romantic suspense.  I have been writing for 20 years but just started full length novel writing in 2006.

How has your family/friends supported your new and upcoming book? : My family and friends have been the GREATEST.  They have been the wind beneath my wings and I think I would have quit a LONG time ago if it wasn't for their support.

What’s next?: The sequel to The Temptation of Love is already completed (no title yet) and I am currently working on a romantic suspense story that is coming along very nicely.

How can readers/listeners get in contact with you?: There are several ways readers can reach me:
