About his book, The Black Badge
Have you ever wondered what truly goes on behind the closed doors of police departments?
C.L. Lowry kicks those doors down in his stories and exposes the dirty secrets that most people are scared to speak about. In this shocking novel, C.L. Lowry takes us on a journey through the lives of eight corrupt Philadelphia Police Officers as they are confronted with endless temptations.
These officers all took an oath to protect and serve the citizens of Philadelphia, but they used their authority and power for all the wrong reasons. None of them started off with evil intent, but one by one, they all were eventually involved in criminal acts ranging from slinging drugs to cold blooded murder.
The Black Badge stories are disturbing, erotic, suspenseful and deeply moving. They shine light on the dark temptations that millions of people struggle with every day, not just police officers. Hang on to the edge of your seat, and your stomach, as you get to know these heroes turned villains and enter the world of police corruption.
What is the Black Lives Matter Movement important to you?
To me, Black Lives Matter means much more than just a phrase. It is a demand for change and a continuous fight for equality. What started as a movement that stood up against police brutality has brought awareness to many more issues that go on in black communities across America. As many people know, there has been a ton of resistance to the movement and luckily several ignorant/racist individuals have been exposed through comments they made against the movement on several social media platforms. Attention has also been brought to companies and organizations who have discriminating views against blacks. Black Lives Matter has given black people the opportunity to realize the importance of supporting each other in everything we do. It is important to focus on black children, so they understand the risks that our people still face on a daily basis. We are now connected with black leaders, businesses, artists and more. Black Lives Matters is a movement I stand by and support to the fullest.
